    Yes...since 2015. It’s the primary reason I left

That sucks. May have to rethink it. Freedom is "slowly going the way of the buffalo" (hehe) it seems.

When I worked at Van Wyk, there were cameras outward, and inward. As well as audio.
I can’t imagine anything has changed with respect to the cameras in the last two years.

Any current Van Wyk drivers lurking around? I’m wondering how the pay is with the up and down freight rates here lately.

    Been with them since December.
Some weeks are better paychecks than others but usually not too bad. Of course all depends on what load you get. Sometimes it's a great week followed by an okay paying week but only by a little bit. But usually it's consistent.
Hardly any wait between loads. Not like in the winter when unload in the morning and then have to wait until midnight for the next load to be ready

you went back to them? I wonder what’s changed there in the last few years.

Nope. My first time with them. I worked for another company doing highway painting, left them to go over the road with a company and only went back to the highway painting after a year thinking things were different. Left them 2 years later. I could have went back to the first company I went OTR with but decided to give VW a try. Glad I did

    Hey Van Wyk drivers,
Can you tell me what type of lanes I'd typically be running out of the Waynesboro terminal?
Also, the website says to expect about 70k per year. Is that about right after taxes?
