Not sure of that port, most have either aiphone, or phone, push a button and wait 5-10 minutes on hold, they'll finally answer, get seal number, tank/box number, chassis number.
Sometimes they ask weight in the box, now the last couple years you had to have a ‘VGM sheet Vehicle Gross Mass’ the shipper gives it.
Shows empty weight of container, then load which =VGM so they don’t overload the ship.
Some ports have scales you weigh in on to check in, but none on the way out.
Theirs a scam at the rail in Elwood, Illinois with a pull off area and DOT weighing trucks as soon as you leave the rail with no chance to go see if it’s legal.

Yes u are going to send a "pre arrival" thru emodal when u show up to the port . It tells the port that ur in the yard... they wont let u in the gate without it...touchless communication meaning when u sign in at the scale . Ur talking to somebody over those stupid phones/ intercomm things , which carry more germs and viruses than a ##### house.... Thats about all i know from my experience at those ports... usually if im going to a port its to pickup/deliver equipment which is different then the container side of the port

because it's gold. I thought we already went over this.....
Goldie has been a good truck. Just brakes and tires so far.
My first truck, Big Red, (because it was red......see a pattern here?) was a freekin money pit though.

In Sioux City IA right now. Interesting. In “bad” part of town. Old RR tracks. Old businesses abandoned, etc. One thing missing... no grafitti. No vandalism. Place doesn’t give you a feeling of dread.

That is the one thing that drove me crazy living over in Italy. The graffiti is everywhere but monuments. It's considered acceptable being they are political .

I trust you realized I was trying for a joke.
So, when you get a blue truck will you be into the jazz scene?

I think I cracked your naming code. I’m not very smart.
