    I checked the US Mint website.

    They're back up to full-capacity coin production.

    The bottleneck is the "banks and 'third party coin recyclers'" are not returning coins to circulation as quickly as they normally would.

    So the Mint goes on to say that all of us must "Do Our Part" and restore any coins we're holding to circulation......DAVE!

    That's the official line. If someone told me it's all a precious metal grab by the Illuminati, I am no longer prepared to dismiss that out of hand, as I would have this time last year.
