it’s kinda like our food smart grocery store, they have the “Pick 5 for $20” deal on lunch meats and a few other items or $3.60 plus 10% (in my math day that comes to 0.36 for $3.96.
So $3.96x5 $19.80, plus tax x2 (sales tax and grocery tax...yes, folks double taxation right there) comes out at $22.90.
The pick 5 will also be $22.90, you save nothing, but it looks good on paper and everyone thinks it’s a deal.

But, now you got 5 packs of lunch meat instead of maybe 2, because you thought you saved money.

 

They have sales tax on basic groceries there? Even Cali don't play that.....

 

Well.

I must like torturing myself.
I’ve booked two white rice loads and two soybean meal loads this week.
But white rice up, meal back, so... I’ll get to wash out 2x this week, but it was $3111 gross and within 300 mile radius, plus I’ve already got little over $950 on the books..

The down fall is the rice loads don’t load until 1600.

And that place might get you loaded by 2000..

 

They tax everything.
