What if it Snows?

So basically unobservant in bad trip planning

 

That is why guys end up trapped in wyoming on 80 when its shutdown , with low fuel and no food or water on the truck. Because they suck at planning ahead.

 

So as the name change implies. Too much wasted time. Putting steps in place to be at school within six weeks. If not less. already confirmed with a driver for the company that I can leave my car at the terminal indefinitely. Have to talk to the recruiter about address issue whether needs to be changed before or after.

 

Pfft.

Schneider said the same about long term parking.
After 2.5 months on the road, I came back to find a white mark on my tires and the concrete and a note I had like 2 weeks to move it.
Didn’t have to leave, it just had to be moved.
It was in west Memphis as far back in the long term parking area as could be.
Like a mile walk to the terminal.
I walked back and told them all if they tow the pickup while I’m on the road for them, they’ll pay to have it brought back and pay for damages and waiting time until they get it back, I didn’t see sitting at that terminal for free when I still had 90 miles to the house.

They’d let dry vans take truck home, tankers had to be at terminal or tank wash.

 

that's why I asked. They give you a parking permit and the driver I'm talking to has had her car there forever.

 

I used to park my truck at swift terminal in phoenix . Longest was like 6 months. Nothing ever happened to it

Lol yeah started with their flatbed division. Did almost 2 years there

 

Ppl bad mouth swift but ive met a good amount of drivers thats been with them for over 20 years. They get a bad rep because some of the ppl they hire are complete morons but i had no problem making money there. Had 4 or 5 months where i made almost 6k. Average was about 4.5k a month. All take home pay
