Here I sit. Beautiful metropolis of Paris TX. Waiting to pick up in the morning.
They’re building a nice new little truck stop! (Just for me) :)
After that last load. I had to sweep the trailer. Then blow it out. Too much dirt.

    Keep or throw.
I bought it brand new in aboot 2005. Put a new valve on it a few years ago and the inside was rust free.

I'm pretty sure we went through a tornado about 60 or 70 miles back.

I asked The OM what should we do, and she's like, " Hammer down!! "

I get a laugh out of the clerks at the cash register. They see my big thermos. Ask; coffee? I say; Vodka!

I had just got loaded and left, he was waiting to see because he said yesterday someone left loaded there with 82k.
    I, was 77500.
So, keeping my equipment in good shape he just looked at it walking by it, and not climbing all over wasting his time and mine alike.

    Well.
I shutdown about 70 miles from destination since I have an 0830 appointment tomorrow and knowing the place has overnight parking, but no bathroom facilities.
They won’t even allow you to use one once your inside the 6 ft high chain link fence with bar wire.
Who knew a place that makes dog food would be so well guarded.
A guy backs in on my left..APU belt loose, squalls every time the compressor kicks in.
Tripac, sometime tonight, the switch may get flipped if it doesn’t quiet down.
Guy on right, comes in, 6” straights fast idle, engine fan kicking off/on.
Me, truck turned off.. it’s 78, going to be 65 tonight..

BTW... This is the load nobody wants to take. Because nothing out of Gering NE. But we always have pallets going home to Rapid from there. Works out good for us.

Now if my boss would quit trying to be too smart. We won’t waste a headlight repair of $5... turn it into a $175.00 repair at a truck stop. Idiot!
