60% of the deaths from Covid in California are Hispanics, and most of the workers at Tyson are Hispanic. They live and work in close proximity to each other, so I'm guessing that it's nearly impossible to avoid getting it. I drove through Salinas last week and passed several of the old converted school buses full of field workers, all sitting shoulder to shoulder and none wearing masks.

The ole lady said, “I can dance like that.”

Me. “Pfft, all you’re going to do is hop around, black both of your own eyes and cause another tsunami and and earthquake or two.”

    Hello, I’m a Jerk.

Family "households" aren't required to wear masks except when in contact with the public.....could they have been all from one family or household on each bus?:p:cool:

Timing is everything, even in transmitting diseases... Wait patiently, avoid the rush.

My suspicion is that people think the covid has run its course. Thus they are no longer as diligent with the masks. Thus there is a resurgence.
Personally, you cant build resistance hiding behind a mask. Tho I have no quarms about wearing the mask.

30.2 million have reported getting it. 972k have perished. May they rest in peace. Of those who got it, it has been estimated that it may have been three times the number of having had the virus. As we didnt need to seek medical help for the virus. Basically 1 in 90. A far cry from the 3%

Still orders of magnitude more deadly than the average flu, though. So precautions are wise.

As I said in the beginning of this, the best place we can be is for the know-it-alls to say they knew this was being blown out of proportion.
