    we were out in the yard today when a feral hog came ambling by. In town here. Not real big, Maybe 80 pounds. Good eating size. My wife didn't want me to shoot it because we're in town. Small town. Pop around 500. Not like anyone around here would even take notice of a gunshot or two. Hog kept walking up the street. Oh well. Maybe he'll come back tomorrow and bring the family.

    "Good afternoon driver can i see your oversize permit?"

    " i dont have one."

    "Why not?"

    "Because i dont need one, im not oversize officer"

    " well you have overhanging freight off the back of your trailer"

    " its perfectly legal sir"

    So he goes and gets his 100ft measuring tape and measures it out.

    "Ur only 72ft long driver , u dont need a permit."

    "Yes i know"

    Soooo he sent me on my way.... Think i just lost whatever brain cells i had left after that conversation...
