Second load was another tarped load from Chicago to Little Rock..
Tarps were frozen, looked like a truck tire,
I swear they gained 50 pounds.
Tarped high dollar designer fence posts in the snow.
It wasn’t like they were going outdoors...![]()

The guy beside me helped and we covered his too then eased the steer tires on them so the truck would blow heat at fast idle of 1000, all it would go too,
People must’ve thought we were crazy, but it worked.InTooDeep, thelushlarry, Cattleman84 and 8 others Thank this. -

Loaded green Walnut planks down in Mississippi.
Full tarp load, did I mention that it was sort of drizzle rain? Get done, point it north towards delivery. About Kentucky it starts snowing. Still pointed north. Go past Green Bay. Where the heeeeellllll is this place. Keep going north. Find the place, park up in the lot where they said to. It’s like 8:30 PM local time. Had to be 2 or 3 feet of snow on the ground. Go to bed, heat cranked up to 11. Wake up at 7:00 AM, 8 to 10 inches of fresh snow. Wander in and talk to receiver types. (They did have fresh hot coffee ready) says pull up under the overhang, pull your tarps and straps, we’ll come unload you. I said, yeah, thats not going to happen any time soon. The load looked like a block of ice. About an inch thick on the sides, maybe 2 or more on top. Ended up backing inside, put jet heaters around the trailer. About 5 hours later, i got the tarps and straps off, then we find the load is frozen together and to the trailer. That was a long day.amberfeldt, InTooDeep, Dale thompson and 6 others Thank this. -
