Does passing a stopped school bus keep a recent grad from being hired?

he has more time being watched by the feds then we doo?
im sorry, last time i checked we drive trucks here, and last time i checked every move we make is watched by the feds, or could be, qc in the truck, and how about that piece of paper filled out every day thats required by the fed law, called a log book?
im still newish, just around 150,000 miles, accident free, all while keeping me, and the motoring public, safe including school buses, school zones, at safe speeds, if you travle down a road and see a school bus, 90% of ur focus should be on that bus!,
if ur going down a road, and see a ball roll out onto the street, u better start braking, cause " where theirs a ball, theirs a kid "
sad pana, i surly hope ur kidding abot ur comments, if not, id for one hope ur not in a truck driving, cause uv given us a bad name, and schools are supposed to be safe zones for kids, while in school, and the begining of the day, to the end of the day till they get home. my best friends lil sister was walking home, on the sidewalk, when she was run over and killed, skinny lil girl,not a " fatty ", tried to run, but the car was to fast, is that what you mean " thin the herds " cause thats what this scum bag did to a 12 year old!

 

I wounder if they have "stop signs" on the open seas.. I wounder what the fine would be for just sailing by ROFL...

 

I'm fairly certain the guy was lying...Probly got a DUI on the boat job,..Now he want's to drive 80K down the road, with a bottle of Jack ??

I second that motion, Lynchmob. I've only been a member for 2 weeks now but I've been hooked ever since I've discovered these boards. Not only have I learned alot about the job and what to expect, but I also feel like I've made some friends who might actually care about whether I fail or succeed!! And that's a great feeling to have because I didn't know ANYBODY in the trucking business before I signed up for classes here in NC.

I hope someday after I've been doing this job for a while, if I ever try to offer some straight-forward, honest, no B.S. advice to somebody who is asking for it and they don't like what I say..... my buddies here will come to my rescue also.

I'm unemployed right now so I'm trying to find out as much as I can about the industry I'm about to plunge myself into. And I must confess, there are some days when there's not much going on here, I've spent as many as 8-10 hours a day reading over (and sometimes commenting) on these threads.

I guess what I'm trying to say is just this............

Don't feel bad Judi, I was one of the fools who voted for Oblahbla. I have since repented of my sin and ask for forgiveness daily. This guy is just like so many others we see come across the board for a day and then go away when he doesn't get the answers he likes.
