We will if they say it’s cool. Usually is because we go to factories and fab shops for the most part. If we scratch the floor the company will tell the customer tough #### you said it was ok.

If somebody files a property damage claim after the fact it could get you dinged for a preventable accident.

Very true. Luckily we’ve got a TM that’ll fight for us there.

Any commercial delivery, I'll bring the pallet jack in. With residential, I absolutely 100% will not enter someone's house.

I've told this story a number of years ago. But my coworker had a refrigerator going to some old lady's house. Despite giving her the policy of not being able to come inside, she sweet talked my coworker into wheeling the fridge into her house anyway. "I'm just a poor old lady and don't have anyone to bring it in. Blah blah blah"

Not even three stops later, he gets a phonecall from a pissed off dispatcher. "Mike, did you SERIOUSLY handcart the fridge into the residential's house?!?!? Cause she is saying you went down her hallway, dining room, and kitchen and damaged the carpet in all three rooms, and she is now filing a claim for us to recarpet half her ######## house!"

To everyone's shock, Mike did not get fired.

Oh believe me, I've done so much stupid crap in the last couple of years that I really don't need to take credit for the stupid stuff my coworkers did.

Did you know you aren't supposed to run hazmat through Yellowstone National Park? I did not know that the first week until a coworker corrected me. Sometimes I wonder how I lasted so long at my old company.

We have good amount of pot places we deliver to and the wood floors in our trailers absorb the smell. For the rest of the frickin day my trailer smells like it! Gotta explain the smell to some customers lol

That's similar to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Not allowed to run propane or gasoline on I-90 in MA without permits, and when you do have the permits, not allowed to stop anywhere on the highway except for an emergency. Dunkin' Donuts at any of the rest areas do not count as emergencies.

Think anyone would put signage up at state border crossings or entrances to the highway? Nope.
