What if it Snows?

It is snowing

 

Debating whether i should chain up. There is 2 big pulls up to our pickup location. We are empty. First one think we will be ok running barefoot. May just throw a single on drives and call it a day, instead of pulling a swift and jacknifing across all lanes.

 

Oh go ahead and be a swifty! We will laugh at your Tom Foolery.

 

Mostly my hesitation to chain is because

1. I havent had any coffee
2. It is cold as heck
3. It is warm in my truck

 

It’s going up to 78 today in Detroit. Very rare, Set a new record. Rains coming in tonight, cooling off. Back to reality.

 

I dont blame you driver. This is why i suggested that owner operators get the friction chains for their trucks. Yet it is easy for me to say it where I dont drive and I am sitting at my nice warm desk with the electric space heater making the office feel like its 80F. Probably why I no longer turn miles.

 

Waiting for my wife, while she’s getting kidney stones blasted. Nurse has me park in a designated area. Can’t leave. Free coffee inside. Haven’t had a cup yet today. Going to be about a 2 hr. wait. Should have brought a pillow.

 

I am sure the nurses will understand if you come back for the free coffee. Just make sure you bring the thermos
