There is no holding anymore. You just get an automated message saying high call volume try again later . Can't leave a message , can't get a ringtone. Everything is a circlejerk automated system even the local DMVs all redirect to the same automated menu

You do realize they will put him out of service ,and most likely give him a citation if he is in his truck?

    S.V.Buyck and nredfor88 Thank this.

I've researched and apparently my state has had problems in the past few years with the DMV cancelling people's liscenses out of nowhere. Apparently the most recent case was caused by employees at the DMV not updating people's records? in time, allowing a massive backlog of updated info to build up and that caused people to lose their licences. The #### ?!? Stated that people lost their jobs over it as well .

Any other truckers in North Carolina had similar problems?

Google Road Law .net. OOIDA has them listed

Maybe they can help. They say it free to call and ask them

I'm completely screwed if the DMVs not allowing walk ins . The soonest appointment I could find anywhere in my state is December 17th and none of them answer their phones .

I bet if they walked into work one day and got told they can't work anymore they might have more urgency , because that's what I'm going through now.

If I'm going to be in this rediculous legal limbo trying to restore my CDL through appointment and whatever other garbage I'll have to do I'm probably going to be working some part time job on the mean time . Because I can not afford this #### .

Does this have to do with a DOT physical medical certificate not being updated in the system?

Pack a lunch, get to a DMV and stay there until you get it sorted out.

    I'll say it again.
Have your friend pull you into a weigh station.
    Give them your CDL.
They're hooked into all 50 states.
They'll be able too tell you something.

It'll give you a heads up on what the problem
    Is before you get home.
They do it everyday when they do a inspection.
