    We were around 75k gross at the time. Today we're only carrying 7k of produce. So no mountains will count. Otherwise we were going to detour for kingman pass.

    I think either Providence RI or a trip to Quincy, MA/Boston is in order.
    Neither are super truck friendly.
    More daycab cabover with 40’ trailers era.

    Well you won't see chains on my truck. Stevens has a chain gang for that. :D

    Well there is not much place to park before cabbage going west . I guess if u were going east there is arrowhead truckstop. But throw chains on and get up/down cabbage . Wont take but a hour or so. Or u can sit for 3 days and the weather is not gonna get much better. I know what choice im picking. I have never been down cabbage in winter without ice fog. Even if its clear day the entire trip. It is always foggy on that hill and nasty.

    They put chains in the truck that don't fit. To keep drivers from doing that.

    Basically you have to do a repower with the chain gang.
