    If you got to choose 4 cities/areas to avoid in OTR, which would they be?
    Just top of my head I'd probably say NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit

    I used to drive around Chicago 4 days a week hauling milk from Michigan to Wisconsin.

    It got so bad I told dispatch I need a break for a week or 2 of no Chicago.

    They than put me on another Route hauling further north in Wisconsin but east.

    I asked if it’s allright to take the Mackinaw Bridge Home since it’s barely more mileage .

    They said we don’t care. Bridge toll and tolls going around Chicago are the same but you are getting paid the same mileage.

    My life became heaven from that point on.

    Nice pleasant drive up through Michigan. Stop for some Pasties.mmm. I had a few small quant truck stops I stayed at in the UP that became my regulars.
