...and then denied all responsibility. Think long and hard before you bring any new equipment in there for unloading.
The floor is now junk and insurance likely will not pay to have it restored to like new. Now I get to put my 15 year old piece of #### back on the road while the new trailer goes in the shop.
Once it's fixed, it's going up for sale. No one has any respect for what I worked hard for. I've learned my lesson and won't upgrade my equipment anymore.
Sysco Atlanta destroyed my brand new trailer...

That's unreal. How in the hell could they shave the floor like that?
I drop in some Sysco places and they are about as bad as I have found.
That's the trouble with trailers. They are hammering away in and out of there. Many time I just say to myself, it's a good thing I don't own a trailer or we would have a lot of problems here.
I feel for you man.slow.rider, Lite bug, bzinger and 6 others Thank this. -
Had the forks to low, thats why you have to watch the loading or unloading.
slow.rider, Trucker61016, alds and 3 others Thank this. -
Lucky I have only had one issue so far. Four boxes of onions thrown aside as damaged. Of course those were up in the load somewhere and may well have been pulled off a skid when they backed out.
No one will ever know the truth.slow.rider, Trucker61016, alds and 6 others Thank this. -
I don't miss grocer wh at all. Open deck is better.

Ain't truckin' fun?

Yep, I have had grocery warehouses rip the wall out of my reefer, and then deny the hell out of it. I got out of that business. I got tired of being treated like a leper by these minimum wage idiots and sold my trailer and went back to open deck. I have a step deck now and the difference is night and day. I had forgotten how nice it was to show up somewhere and be treated like a human being.

That’s a hell of a gouge, and all due to nothing but laziness.slow.rider, nredfor88, lilillill and 2 others Thank this. -
Insurance agent called back this morning. Of course, they're not going to cover it. Keep that in mind if you get insurance from Hadley & Lyden, underwritten by American Southern Insurance. Not worth the paper its printed on.
slow.rider, Snailexpress, IH Truck Guy and 4 others Thank this.
