see maybe I'll just spend $300 on a proper 100 watt solar panel set up. I'm afraid the truck could burn down, which is only good if in Jersey.

From what I have read that won't work, and may actually damage/drain your battery bank. The one's most people have are only meant for a single 12v battery.

Let this be a lesson... After speaking with the office folks, but before starting your clocks... Call the customer directly!!! This will save many headaches.

If you connect to one battery. It should be fine. 12 volts going to a 12 volt battery, which is connected to all the other batteries. The current spreads out. An 8 amp charger, is 96 watts, not a huge force over 4 batteries. I connect the trickle charger and plug it into my predator 2000 watt generator. If I'm sitting for 24 hours, i'll do it rather than run the truck for coffee, tv, microwave. Coffee and microwave are run to the generator. My bunk heater works one night after driving for say five hours. If I sit, then the bunk heater only last like 4 or 5 hours. Then I have to run the truck for a half hour and repeat.

Doesn’t work going to feed mills, they won’t answer the phone.
The one in the hills in Decatur Ar redirects all calls to Youngstown OH and they’ll tell you to “hurry up, we’re waiting on you.”

I found later about the Ohio redirect after I waited 5 hours for a load.

I'm looking (or trying to) at how effective the ones from pulsetech are. I feel like in combination with an EPU it would result in less idling, less wear on the engine, and over the course of things less money out of my pocket (minus the initial purchase and installation).
