The cows are weighed when loaded and again when unloaded.
The weight they lose in transit is called shrinkage, the less shrinkage the more money you make. When they are on the trailer they can't eat or drink but they can pee and poop. Less time on trailer less shrinkage.

When I had my old 386 Pete I caught one on a hill and, not paying attention, stayed behind him and matched his speed. I was talking to a friend on the phone and about 25 miles later I realized we were running 88 in a 70 lol backed her down after that, above 75 is out of my comfort zone

Yeah, it’s common sense to get the hell out of their way. I think even cops aren’t interested in pulling them over.

I expect every trucker to be treated equal by the DOT. However, exceptions need to be made via common sense. Let that 16 year old kid hauling a flatbed full of alfalfa roll. Same with bull haulers. If you're a cop, ignore them. We all make this country work. But farming and food need to get from A to B. The other day a cotton hauler straight truck slammed on his brakes and I almost ate his ### end. Kid couldn't have been a day over twelve. Let our farmers farm. This isn't Russia.
