OK question, why does that Guage go to 15 mpg Who has accomplished this? How long was the downhill? Georgia overdrive? Sorry more than one question.

 

My truck's instant mpg gauge goes up to 299.9 on the downgrades, and that's under control, not "freewheeling".

Then it goes down to 2.8 when I'm grinding eb up Monteagle, draggin' 78,900 and change...

G'nite, all. I went home for a shower and snuggle with Missus Skillet, but I gotta be back up to the yard at 4am.......

Yeah I made it fine. It was actually rather a yawn this morning. I got bigger gusts last evening before I parked in Laramie. I didn't end up taking 287 in the morning. When I looked at Windy, it looked like 287 was getting the brunt. Running the whole line of that squeal. Where on I-80. There was only a small section that it would be a cross wind and not a tail wind.

That said. After I delivered to Coke. Had the fun of a random drug screening call. No biggy. Just time out of the day. Then I stared deadheading to KS. As there is no freight worth taking out of Denver. Getting a meat load. So I DID take 287 this afternoon. Sitting at the Love's off of US 50 just inside of KS.
