    Chevy had one. Same as the GMC. One was called the ASTRO, can't think of the other off top of my head.

    Chevy kept the Bison name plate after ditching class 8 trucks. Chevy badged Astro was the Titan I’m starting to think Dave is skipping pages

    The old gmc general I drove was air assist steering, with air starter..
    I kinda liked the sound when it whirled over, everyone else around in the truck stop hated it about 2 in the morning..

    Has to be the most unique sound in trucking (air starter) the first time I heard one it was a WTF moment.

    And thats why the old hands never shut off their trucks. Air bleads out, and you ain't going nowhere. Also, most guys carried an air hose "jumper" where they could hook to their air and get somebody started.
