Asphalt/tar haulers, any advice?

heat gun no torch kerosene on a hot day and lots of sunshine.

 

If you can get your hands on ecozorb (not sure of the spelling). That will take it right off. It’s a additive that cuts down on the smell of asphalt. Most loading racks have some form of it, for pain in the ### plants.......

Take a putty knife and scrap the crows nest first and then use the ecozorb or kerosene to wipe out the mess.....

For the drain tubes stuff a rag in the bottom of them until you get to wherever and then take them out and put a bucket under them. Don’t forget to take them out if it’s raining tho.........

It’s not your trailer so cleaning the skin of the tank isn’t really gonna happen. Most Tank washes won’t take it off. Again kero or eco or there’s some orange peel crap that takes it off...... but it’s a all day affair.

just run it thru a tank wash a couple of times and forget about the rest of it.......
