    Thanks!
How do you like the display resolution on the Garmin?

I tip my hat to you and all flat bed drivers.
At one point in my driving career I went to Melton truck lines for orientation and after going through there training and seeing what was involved... making sure that load is properly secure with the correct amount of chains, straps etc then tarp... Under cold rain, snow or ice!
The suicide coils really got my attention and I said not for me!
Keep going forward friend your working for a great company!

I’m not happy with my Garmin 770 at all. It reads every weight restriction road in the area as being for the road im on and reroutes me miles out of my way. I have been forced to use the co pilot app on my iPad and have it mounted on my dash. For me it’s much more reliable.

It’s good. Mine just started to not power up sometimes. It’s done it twice this week.

My dezl OTR 700 does the same thing. I have the most up to date map database, but it still thinks there is a 10 ton weight limit across western NE and most of WY. I even changed my profile to an 8000lb 5 axle truck...it still gives me funky routing and a 10 ton weight warning...I usually switch it to car mode when I am crossing thru that area, which seems like every month.

No, but I rarely shut if off. It has been locking up occasionally after the latest software and map update. It'll have the little blue sit-n-spin going around when it is thinking about something...then it just stops spinning. Sometimes it comes back to life by itself, sometimes I have to pull the plug and let the battery die, then plug it back in and restart. I've always had decent luck with Garmin, I have to say, this one has been a bit disappointing.

It’s still got to be better than the junk from the competition.

True...a friend had both when I was at WiMoore (running at the same time). He said his Garmin would calculate the route faster, and would give him a route closer to what he wanted to run, without adding way-points to redirect it.
