Yup, the problem is all of these companies learned that quality actually cost them profits. Vehicles dealerships make more off of maintenance than they do sales (not counting warranty/ recalls), so they want you to have no choice. Even phones used to be fairly easily repaired, but people were replacing components, instead of buying the newest gadget. The only thing I dislike about the video is that they singled out Deer, when International, New Holland, etc... are just as guilty.

I sat 94 hours in a little podunk town in the communist state, not a record I'm sure but got good detention pay to sit around. There was 5 of us plus beer and steaks on the barbie.
