Driving a manual trans with an automatic restriction

VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION TO ORIGINAL QUESTION. keep the cross bolt out of the shifter to shifter to tower in case you get pulled over. IF you do get pulled over, justpull the shifter out of the floor and make sure you have slack in air line. Put the shifter between the seat and then your lunchbox over the hole in floor. Either that or put your cat bed with your cat in it on top of the floor. I dont have a cat but i know alot of you do. Problem solved. He wont be reaching his head in far enough to look for clutch unless he is trying to hob on your knob. But hey in todays world that might be your thing too. In that case you will be let go i guess
