So you're the guy who's been dropping trailers too high....

 

Just the other day I had some short pink haired lady walk into my blind spot from behind another truck. No way I could have seen her but I always have a habit of waiting a few seconds before switching direction (was getting ready to pull up) and out pops this 4ft something tall woman on the other side of the hood.

there’s a reason I always hold my hand up when I walk across the front of trucks if I’m close.

 

In the fall of 2019 I was sitting in the nasty Pilot in Syracuse New York. There is a teenage boy pushing an older woman missing a leg in a wheelchair right in front of my truck. The truck that is trying to back in next to me is already set up and in reverse. The people on the ground are just moseying along and I pull on the horn. Driver stops. People move along. I hide in the sleeper so I don't have to watch anymore of this crap.
A little while later I get a knock on my door and I kid you not in all honest God seriousness this wheelchair woman thanks for protecting her and tells me she's missing her leg due to
....getting hit in a truck stop.

And people might wonder why I back up slow as molasses....

 

Happened to me today!

 

Dominic's is nearby. Very good eatery.

 

And you may want to shower elsewhere or risk waiting in line for 2+ hours because nobody is cleaning them and there are only like 3-5 showers anyway.

It also has that dead end that is kind of funny watching people trying to get out of.
