People have to eat. People also have to buy things that I will call quality of life items. People also have to work. While this may sound weird it leads me to my primary point. The large urban areas need incoming and outgoing freight! This means ALL of them are in freight lanes. So the IF part of this is not the primary issue. In my view, this issue is a quality of life issue. Good schools for the kids, work opportunities for the spouse. When I retired I looked long and hard where I was going to settle. I was torn between where I am now (Hampton Virginia), Dallas, or Tucson Az. I am single so this was all about my needs.

    About this Joni person-----

I know her as Karen and Kendra. Total tools both-------

I’m out of Denver. It does seem that much of the trucking we do. It never sees a load board. Got customers we haul out of Denver for. I am doing my best now. Last I estimated. I’ll make over $90k this year. And I’m not killing myself like reefer madness.
I have to admit as far as an opinion. Texas or Nevada. Also got a special place in my heart for Arkansas. Talked to women there in back country. Very real and unpretentious. I would have married if I lived there.

BTW... You’re in Florida. Do not drive for BillyBob’s Alligator Eatery. Their drivers disappear. They don’t quit. Not fired. Just disappear into thin air? Nobody knows?

Sounds like the LA Sheriff that made the mistake of attempting to apprehend Amos Moses.

You mean you’d actually be ok with her being your DM? Why, I ought to bite your neck on general principle!

How do you feel about life eternal?

I was joking of course because the spot rates and load board freight are so awful out of there. It's a big city though so of course some people are making money in trucking there.
