I75 anywhere near Atlanta and Chattanooga
I95 Richmond to DC is absolutely awful
I81 from Roanoke into PA is freakin packed at all times
I84 from Hartford to Danbury is a classic slow ride
I85 in South Carolina from Greenville to NC border is an absolutely atrocious work zone
I95 Cross Bronx up to New Haven CT is guaranteed to add excessive time to your day

The east coast just sucks in general for trucks.

I dealt with that $#!+ show when I was with Swift. At DHT......NO Northeast, No Northwest, No Florida. I would not go back to running those areas for love nor money.

Every time I go south I take 301, unless I leave at 2 AM. I hate 95 north of Fredericksburg, not so much for the road condition, but the traffic.

Lots of unwarranted hate. Roads seem quite alright compared to CA where I'm originally from. And people here always think I'm mental for leaving such a "nice state".

NM is a poo hole, that's why. The roads may be alright but the drivers aren't. The few times I've ever had to deal with belligerent drivers were all along 40. Lots of people get under the influence and drive as well in the towns.

You told me something a while back that has always stuck with me. Quote"A bad day in southern MD is better than a good day in N.Va"end quote. To this day i follow that rule.

It does my heart good knowing I was a positive influence on somebody, whoever and wherever they are.

    Thank you.

    Where to begin:
    A moron for a Gov.
State Police who spend their entire day speeding up and down the highway, not actually enforcing the laws
P.O.E. that think they are god
A Gov. who thinks she's above God
    Drugs
    Absolutely boring scenery
Drunk/Drugged drivers by the hundreds (putting two items together, ten years back, followed a drunk driver from just N. of the 285 exit all the way to Las Vegas, N.M. almost 50 miles he weaved all over the road, ran numerous vehicles off the road, at least a dozen calls were made to NMSP (they never showed up), finally once two local Sheriff deputies got on scene, myself and another trucker carefully got ahead of the guy and brought him to a stop so the deputies could arrest him)
P.O.E. that sometimes think they are above God
A Gov. who has destroyed the states economy (dine in restaurants still aren't open, except in certain areas or extremely limited capacity)
Oh, and let's not forget the Gov. personal convoy when she travels, this actually started with Johnson, any time the Gov. goes to an event, there's typically a convoy of 4 to 6 police and other cars, and they will take up as much of the road as they want.
Indian casino's, where the odds are not in your favor

The only good points I give NM, two of my good friends from HS live there, including a woman who at 55 could still pass for 30, despite 4 kids, just darn good genes I guess.
