I'm a newbie been out of school for awhile and I haven't been able to get in the industry yet due to an accident I got into last November. Thing is a few months ago I went to court, contested the ticket and WON so now I just got off the phone with a company and they say even if I have proof I still have to wait until November to be considered...anyone out there have any advice?
How can I get this resolved?

If you won, why is it on your record? If you want it gone, may have to contact an attorney to help you out. Though, honestly, taking the summer and fall off would probably cost less money.
Flat Earth Trucker, shooter19802003 and slow.rider Thank this. -
The accident is still on your record, but the ticket isn't.
Where is your location? Some companies will still hire you.

Anyone injured in the wreck?
Did you run a stop sign or were you speeding?
Did you rear end another vehicle?Flat Earth Trucker and p608 Thank this. -
Short of this the only real way to resolve these kinds of things is the passage of time. Speaking of those tables in 383.51. I know several drivers that can't drive right now because of a violation of one of the offenses listed in table 1. One is about halfway through a 1 year and the other is about 8 months into a 3 year. A third is on life and got out of the industry!slow.rider Thanks this. -
So you beat the ticket you got when you had the accident. But the fact is, your fault or not, you were involved in an accident, and that is all some companies look at.
p608 Thanks this. -

Thing is the ticket was thrown out I didn't even have to take a class so I'm confused...is that like standard procedure for a company to do that?
