    Good joke.
It’s 93 outside, loaded and unloaded twice, going after another that’ll cost me to stay in Memphis again, so i thought it was a good time for a laugh.,

I can’t help but wonder if the apartment building in Miami was built with Chinese steel. Built in 1981, about the time they started shipping a lot to USA. I worked at a Steel yard for a Major Shipyard, in 1984. They also sold pieces to outside customers. Quite a few times, I saw them change the heat # s on them, to suit the order. Proper heat #s needed to properly weld the beams. Not to mention how brittle the steel was. Easily chipping off the edges, while hooking them. My guess is it tends to crack more instead of flexing. Tall buildings need to bend, and give a little. Like a bridge. ???

That may be so but what I thought was odd was the condition of the concrete. It appears to have turned to dust.

I'm putting my money on a sink hole. Fla lime stone eats houses on a fairly regular basis.

    Yes BUT.....

Emporia is hardly the "eclectic urban enclave" that Austin is.

Although when they make coffee in Austin, they probably think of the children..........
