I got my wheels and tires. I’m happy. I can’t justify paying twice as much just for tires. They’ll dry rot before they wear out. First set of Michelin’s I’ve ever had. Good Reviews, for rain and snow. 70k tire. Should last Me 5 yrs. Total invested in the Jeep, now $6300. Another $300, should be done for a while. Oil has 2800 miles on it, still looks new, hasn’t burned a drop. I’m surprised, since half the miles were Hwy miles from Miami to home. My Pontiac burns a quart going around the block, and has half the mileage.

My father had a 1972 Pontiac Catalina (station wagon) with the 440 engine. I swear, you could drive it around a block and watch the car slurp 5 gallons of fuel. Talk about being a gass hog!
