This is why fuses are getting shorter and guys are becoming more malicious. It's like the movie Falling Down, you have to watch for that guy who has had enough and has just snapped.

If they have the new pulled pork grilled cheese you can pull me in there pretty quickly. I had to let some SOB manager in Kentucky bleed out by the gutter last week though. That SOB sold me a sammich that had been in there so long it was drier than the Gobi, and harder than Chinese Algebra. I asked for a refund, when he smiled and told me "no refunds" I saw red! Next thing I know I'm screaming at pulp in a black shirt screaming about wanting my ###### pulled pork sammich, I decided I'd better leave and settle for a Pilot corndog after that.

He, being a Kentuckian, would’ve been better than any sammich, just saying...

THAT is why, not everytime at a Fuel stop, I did a "Tug test" b4 splittin' that scene.
    Also the usual "walk around".
Pre-trip then in route checks every time out of cab, day/night.
I also preferred to use the Fuel Lanes the furthest from building when/where feasible. Better for Exercise!
NEVER have I had a "missing seal", 5th pin pulled and/or tandems release corrupted! CHEERS!!

I was at Mittens in Oakley KS a couple months ago getting an air bag on the trailer and a Prime truck came in to get a padlock cut off that didn’t belong to him. That seems to be popular and less destructive than pulling a 5th wheel.

####!!!!!! You know, I get pissed off about people blocking fuel islands too. However to rip off the seal on someone's trailer is going too far. You don't mess with someone's money or job function. You don't touch someone's truck or trailer. He didn't make the situation any better. Truckers are such petulant children at times. Then he backs out and leaves. Why he couldn't just do that without ripping his seal?

I couldn't agree more. It takes so much energy to be that angry.

Now that's creative. Lol, I always run with my own padlock on the trailer. It's a secondary measure to cover my ###.

Why not go with non destructive yet annoying, like zip ties on the wiper arms or door handles. Or for a particularly egregious offense, pop the guy's red airline off. He just won't go anywhere until he figgers it out.

So in this case a fuel island sitter would not of been punished or cared if seal was broken.
