Magnum Ltd. looks like a company I'd be interested in researching some more. What are their hiring requirements? I only have about 3 months in with Schneider (2 if carriers don't count orientation/training). That being said i at least want to hit the 6 month mark before looking seriously about jumping ship.

Magnum hires drivers right out of cdl school.
You should be ok for that company.
Drivers that post on here say they're making $1200 - $1500 weekly.Last edited: Aug 29, 2021

Lmao things seem to have gotten busy in here since the last time I wrote. So basically a recap of the past month:
I got that truck from Indy and ended up taking it back to Minnesota to give to the Master Halco account, and got to take an OTR load from Indy to Green Bay, so that I wouldn't come back empty handed. Finally got to take a 10 hr break at the Green Bay Training Academy, which was cool. Wanted to swing by the main office and meet my DTL team, but there wasn't enough time.
When I got back to Minnesota, they didn't have any Master Halco loads for me, so they ended up giving me some random loads to relay around Minneapolis.
Finally got back up to speed with Master Halco, ran some loads for them going out to North Dakota, Northern Wisconsin, and some really far North areas of Minnesota. I had fun with it.
Last week was my last week with MH before I start hometime. Sunday they got me an OTR load out of Minnesota. I picked up in Eau Claire and relayed at the Gary OC. Was my first time at that OC, not bad but not great either as far as OCs go. That neighborhood is scary lol.
They sent me back up to Green Bay yesterday with a load from Chicago and I picked up another relay to bring back to Gary. I just BARELY managed to get back to Gary with my 14.
Today I did the same run again, from Gary to Green Bay.. But this time my backhaul load wasn't ready, so I've ended up having to take a 10hr break at the Green Bay Training Academy until I can get some further guidance from my DTL team in the morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be my last day of work before hometime starts on Thursday, but they have 2 other preassignments on me on top of my current active assignment so I'm not sure how that's gonna work out.
I've got an MT right now with a flat tire as well, waiting for SEM to come swap it out but I'm gettin tired so I think I'm just gonna go to bed and hope I wake up with a new tire. Lmao.
Til next time.MrsWJAA, JOHNQPUBLIC, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
