The truck shutting off at a stop is probably the byproduct of them not wanted us to get around the idle system. Found I can't do what I used to do when the idle didn't work, and release tractor break. Now the only way to get around idle is by putting something on the accelerater.

There’s a simple solution to this…you don’t like way the equipment is set up, go buy your own and set it like you want it.

Another driver PM'd me and said after they updated his truck, wedging the throttle only last a short time, and then it still shuts down

And a since you always have a negative comment about things posted on this thread, there is a simple solution there too...since you have everything all figured out anyway...you can obviously figure that out for yourself.

OK now to get around idle is to.. find a large field to park in...let truck coast and place a rope on steering wheel so it turns slighlty....and just let the truck go around in circles and enjoy the ac /s

I’ve paid for my own fuel so I know how bad fuel costs have spiked.. I’m stating facts plain and simple.. they have to watch their fuel costs..

Or a hydraulic jack, jack up one wheel, set the trailer brake and let it rack up some miles in 1st gear

I agree, but not at a stop lite. And not when a driver is literally sweltering while trying to sleep.
