Entertainment Trucking Companies
Stage Call- Apache Junction, AZ is their HQ, they have a yard in Cerritos, CA & Nashville. Great guys, I have used them extensively in the past for entertainment trucking
Upstaging, Inc- Chicago, IL is their HQ, yards all over the US
Roadshow- HQ is in San Francisco
JANCO- HQ is in Wayne, NJ
Special Event Transportation (SET)- HQ is in Winston Salem, NC
Entertainment trucking companies are a different breed from the regular line haul guys. Every one that I have worked with are consummate professionals who will handle your equipment with care and drive superbly maintained trucks. They all work well with deadlines and show production schedules, late is word that doesn't exist in their vocabulary!
Hit up any of these companies, some might be fully booked. I know Upstaging has a good portion of their fleet out on Green Day & Weezer's stadium run, as well as the Guns N' Roses tour. -
You want to contact a van line, either thru thier corp Hq, or your local moving company agent.
United
Mayflower
Atlas
North American
Those are the big five, each has a spec commoditys division. A high value product, division, and a trade show division, that specialize in exactly what you want.Speed_Drums Thanks this. -
F all these scum. All they do is take 50-60% off of top of load and broker it out.
Best advice is get to know a couple owner ops and they can move it if the price is right. Or perhaps they know a buddy or two that can get it done.
Bypass scum broker at all costs -
