And as hot as it still is, bermuda shorts and a cool suit would help

That 1st stop is at Whole Foods, located in the heart of downtown LA. Seems to be first come first served and check in is at 3am. Have to park on the street to check in so this shall be fun.

Port one seems to be good but most of the docks require a blind side back but reviews say you can give a yard guy $20 and they will put your trailer in for you. Can only imagine what place I'll have to wiggle into to get out of Cali.

Ice cream out of Stockton, and several customers out of the Tracy area come to mind. Plus we have a drop yard in Stockton someone might have dropped a preloaded trailer you might get.

Due to laziness on my part had to do an emergency wash out. When I picked up my empty at a tyson warehouse near Dallas, it looked clean. However after being in the dock for 1 hour at Americold, the yard guy comes over and tells me they can't load me due to blood in the trailer and I'm picking up yogurt.

Whole trailer was clean except in the nose there was a small spil. Thankfully there was a wash out place just 4 miles down the road and no line. In and out in 5 minutes and when I got back they put me right back into a dock with no wait.

Now I know to do I quick inside exam cause if I was picking up somewhere with no trailer washout close by. Could of caused me to have to wait hours for a work-in.

I keep a gallon jug of water with me to rinse out small spills. Then I refill it at the spigot at the fuel island the next time I fuel.

According to my A/M, my message delays aren't coming from their end. I finally got the directions to my shipper about 3 hours after I asked for them (and they were the exact way I chose to go anyway). Then the lock reminder and automated PTA message followed. Then today, while I was in the restroom dropping a dillybar on my 30 min break, I noticed a preplan on my phone app that was received at 7 am(6 central), but nothing was on the truck when I pulled in the Love's. When I got to the truck, there was a message, and it showed being received at 11:15 am(10:15 central). I messaged my A/M telling him that I had just received the pplan (which I accepted), and that there was some sort of delay happening at my end. He said he wasn't aware of any system issues, so it must be my unit....friggin Peoplenet.

Just watched this weeks propaganda video and I was surprised. Brace yourself, it's shocking....for the 1st time in many many months, he didn't mention a recruiting bonus, or encourage us to recruit....shocking I know, :biggrin_25521: but true.

Go to “Default Home”…”System”…”OBC Diagnostic”….at very bottom click on circle back icon(far right) then hit reboot OBC.
    Should fix it.

Or, press and hold the reset button on the back. Peoplenet said we should be doing that weekly, but...hold it in too long and you have to sign in again
