If you are a good worker making a sincere effort and doing the job, and the employer plays games like this, you are far better off being let go.
I would write this down as concisely as possible with several iterations of editing. You want a very brief non-emotional explanation to give to whoever you apply and interview with. You need a one sentence version for the application “Why did you leave tour last employer.” And a slightly more descriptive version fir an interview.
That behavior is not unknown in trucking so I’m sure a decent company will immediately recognize it and not count it against you. Just be totally factual. “The employer gave changing excuses to fire me to make room for another candidate although I successfully performed all tasks assigned and as needed.” Something like that.
