This was in Minnesota. Guy who got hit company wanted a police report for insurance reasons. A way of saying we weren't at fault so their rate don't go up. What surprised me was the city sent 3 police cars with 2 people in each....must of been a slow day.
Found it funny how everyone not involved became a reporter and all crowded around the cops to give statements lol
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Sweet karma - was in a construction zone going 55 and a undercover cop pulled up next to me and just sat there. Big pickup gets right on his bumper and after awhile even flashes his highbeams. Cops speeds slightly up and the moment the truck could pass he zipped around doing 80. Cop proceeded to pull dude over.
Then later ran into Swift being Swift. Further down past Denvor there was another construction zone where the left was closed. Well Swift ended up breaking down right at the point in the merge blocking the right lane. Everyone had to go over the corned off area a bit to get around him. -

@supersnackbar I have a question for you if ya don’t mind. Crete website has a position up for a KC- Salt Lake Loop, a KC - Chicago loop and a Nebraska to Atlanta loop. They say it’s a 4 day work week, 3 days off over the weekend and you can pick from Friday, Saturday Sunday or Saturday Sunday Monday. My question is, how much baiting and switching can I expect from Crete? I mean that sounds good but I don’t wanna go thru everything just to hear “wellll we don’t have that now all we have is OTR”. Or if these accounts they have happen to go belly up then what does a guy do? Absorb into another dedicated account? Or do you get the boot with the customer? Just curious. The schedule is intriguing so I thought I’d catch your opinion on it. Thanks in advance. Hope Mrs. Snackbar is doing good!

I have to agree with @newbietrucker91, if the position is open when you apply and are approved for it, then it should be good to go when they're scheduling you for orientation. And, as long as the customer needs us to move their freight on that account, then it's all good. If something happens to the account, then other dedicated opportunities are always an option. I've never known the company to bait-n-switch, especially now when they need every qualified driver they can get.
And Mrs. Snackbar is getting up to speed at a lightening pace. 3 weeks after going under the knife, and she put in a full day at her market AND is back doing her sewing projects (she is a vendor as well as the manager at her market...she makes all sorts of sewing products from aprons to backpacks to purses)Speed_Drums, kylefitzy, Lonesome and 5 others Thank this. -
