We have a Midwest Regional Driver position too. I, as Long Haul, get to ATL very often and to Savannah too.

I sent you a DM but feel free to ask anything here that you may be curious about and I’m sure one of us can answer.

Never seen it before. Must be some older driver points/discount card of some kind?

This post is about the TRANSFLO App and NOT about FCC.

Just as an FYI, TRANSFLO has updated their App and now seems to think they need to be tracking us 24/7 (Always On) instead of only when using their App. They say it’s for Load Tracking and Geofencing but I doubt FCC uses these options as they already track both trucks and trailers separately from the App.

A driver cannot even use the Chat or Scan features without turning location services to “Always On”.

This is, in my view, unacceptable and I have voiced my concerns over this change with my DM.

I will abandon using the TRANSFLO App and return to using the QC and scanner if needed.

The idea of tracking ME and MY tech 24/7/365 is unacceptable.

To be clear, I believe that this is an App issue and not something FCC is requiring.

Also, I have absolutely no problem with my company tracking my truck, knowing if I’m parked or driving, or tracking my load. It’s their truck and their load, not a problem. My concern is Apps tracking my iPhone and my iPad.

Crete incorporated the transflow app into their company app, and ours works fine with location set to 'only when using app', so it must be something your company has set up thru their account.

I have an iPhone and have it set to only while using, and it works fine.

That being said, it will disable the app if you roll unless you circumvent it.
