Well, I will agree that we would benefit from getting more manufacturing out of china or at least spreading it out over several nations.

 

As a former Apple employee, I’m offended by what the company has done.

 

We have bought our last apple products too.

 

I am proud to say...I have never, and will never own anything Apple. I learned back in high school how much of a back-stabbing, ruthless prick Steve Jobs was, and that was when Apple was nothing but another piece of #### startup company. And I refuse to do business with such a douchebag, or the company he built

Good to have options and competition in the marketplace. Everyone finds what they like and everyone benefits from both.

I used to be a PC Guy and my sister was the Mac fan … always had a fun rivalry between us. Until I bought a MacBook Pro to test out and eventually give to my oldest for college. Fell in love with both the hardware and software. While I still have that original MBP it’s getting rather long in the tooth but I got over 10 years of use out of that first Mac.

10 from that Mac, 8 from my other daughters Mac, my first iPhone was a 4S and I used it for 4 years before upgrading to a 6S plus and I used it for 6 years. (It’s still in the truck here but recently bought an SE2)

hardware is built like a tank, in my experience, and I do like how they all come together to create a whole ecosystem.
