If I am not mistaken a microwave for a truck is supposed to be 750 watts maximum. I don't know why that number pops into my head.
My microwave will turn my Apu on as soon as I turn it on. Old Thermo King apu -

I have a 700 watt microwave and it has never caused an issue while the APU is running. I suspect 950 watts is a bit much, especially at start-up.
The fact they even considered that AT&S lot amazes me. Sketchy area, poor lighting, some $5 padlock on a dead-end road where you are trapped should someone pull up behind you while you're out fidgeting with said padlock. I figured all the fuel savings we get by using Fuel Solutions should've paid for our own lot. Maybe the owner's daughter salary to maintain the fuel savings offsets any gains? -
I found out that when I run my microwave it is better to start the truck. I was just mentioning the wattage.MidWest_MacDaddy and mitrucker Thank this. -
