I was gonna say, I thought ya'll had Carrier APU's, which are generators (or at least the ones Creaffer had that 1 year they bought them). The only issues drivers had back then was if they tried to use a higher watt appliance while using the heat on high.

If I am not mistaken a microwave for a truck is supposed to be 750 watts maximum. I don't know why that number pops into my head.
My microwave will turn my Apu on as soon as I turn it on. Old Thermo King apu

I have a 700 watt microwave and it has never caused an issue while the APU is running. I suspect 950 watts is a bit much, especially at start-up.

The fact they even considered that AT&S lot amazes me. Sketchy area, poor lighting, some $5 padlock on a dead-end road where you are trapped should someone pull up behind you while you're out fidgeting with said padlock. I figured all the fuel savings we get by using Fuel Solutions should've paid for our own lot. Maybe the owner's daughter salary to maintain the fuel savings offsets any gains?

    BigR and dwells40 Thank this.

    You are correct
I found out that when I run my microwave it is better to start the truck. I was just mentioning the wattage.

I didn’t think about that but might be an option. But isn’t that plug only powered when the APU is running?
