    Have to agree.

From a friends experience, it's a hands off experience that works when you are pre planning with no time to put into negotiations and relationship building.

All is well until detention, load cancellation, wrong equipment ordered, TONU . . . or pretty much anything else occurs.

Then you get to deal with overseas call centers and non returned communications.

I received confirmation through a email that Uber was having pay issues. My last run had 2 Uber loads and have recently been paid .

Exactly why I won't deal with them. I also don't like that they decided what the accessorials are and how they're invoiced like they're in charge of my business operations. I decide in/out times, I decide how much detention and TONU I charge. Sometimes those numbers are negotiable but with their automated system it's their price or nothing. I'll pass. I'd rather build relationships with people close to my community or yard. I have no interest in helping a globalist agenda either.

Somehow I gave up looking for relationships...tired and disappointed of never returned affections.
All I did the last two years was automated apps and through the app bids. I think that's a matter of convenience and fun. That became such a habit that I started to think that I found my own niche - specializing in booking loads from apps. lol

The only one existing interaction is when I have to call them to cancel or they call me to try to make me go down on the rate. All of them might call me to try to go down on the rate, except Uber Freight. Think of Uber Freight as a Rothweiler or a snake - if you know how to pet it, it will be your pet, if you don't then it might bite you on the nose. Always be careful of what and where you book.
Even though they are not my favorite, I always check what they got on the app.
Uber Freight always pays as promised and on time.
Paperwork and accessorial receipts/requests must be properly submitted.

I’ve hauled a few Uber loads, all short localism stuff, of the 3 loads only one I would haul again. It went great, show up. Load up and roll, deliver and paid fast. The other two sucked. Crappy addresses, needed to call support, spoke with someone in India once and someone in the Philippines the second time.
What should have been easy stuff turned into all day affairs and a pain in the azzzz.

The good, all 3 loads paid better than anything comparable at the time. They paid ASAP and requesting payment was easy. That is not good enough for me to want to haul for them again. Will I? Depends on the actual load. If it is the one I hauled that were professionals about it yes.
They actually described the freight to a T and were professional. The other loads were the equivalent of junkyard doggin it.

I understand people using them, but they are the last thing I check when searching.

What about Uber Eats for a change...?!
Can you get food that's still hot enough?
