Old man up to go.. Wife asks: "What", He tells. She say turn on the light, you will break your neck...
He says :"No need" it will come on itself.
She follows and peeks.. He is opening the refrigerator door...

According to this propaganda piece the SoCal ports are reducing the backlog off the coast.

Container Dwell Fee Postponed Again As California Port Bottlenecks Wane - TruckersReport.com

Another piece also points out that one of the terminals in Seattle has partially reopened and is able to take even more of the SoCal ships in.

Upgraded Port of Seattle Tamps Down Supply Chain Disruption - TruckersReport.com

Some of the shipping companies are rerouting to other west coast ports that do not have a significant backlog.

T6 in Portland has an adjacent rail yard and the crew that runs the containers around the port work both truck and rail side. The Husky terminal in Tacoma also is adjacent to the rail yard and they swap containers from rail to ship side.

SoCal needs to implement the rail forwarding strategy or be left to flounder and die. Anything with a consignee further than 10 miles from the port, should be put on a non-stop train and sent inland to be processed or stored. NON STOP with armed security on board so that the looters can't pillage the trains. I would prefer to see something out near Vegas or Phoenix just to get the crap out of L.A. metro, but Imperial Valley or Bakersfield would also work.

I venture to say that there are a few of us who soundly rejected those corporate environs for the truckin' life.

I think I have told the story before so I will spare everyone but I met him once at his warehouse. Little bit of a D bag. Might have been having a bad day. Who knows. I support him because he produces his products in America. I own four of his pillows. They are steaming piles of dog ####. I hope the towels are.better. Just trying to give you a honest heads up
