I called Arkansas state police one time in my career/life.
If they’d done anything, it would have stopped a wreck, but no one did anything, called the division out of Clarksville AR off I40 xit 55-57 one of those, when we were by the 90 mile marker, told them of a woman driving, while reading Q cards for a test or something, with a child in the car seat, swerving all over the place, then she’d pass you, then slow down to 45-55, then you pass, she’d slow pass you, all over her lane, left shoulder and sometimes half your lane.

They never dispatched anyone, this was 5-6 years ago.
They had construction passed Ozark, AR west bound around the 32ish, she slammed into the back of a stopped JB Hunt, that had his flashers on, and was stopped by the state trooper who was the care bear.

 

I remember them used to telling everybody, “Head for the shelter!”
Now I’m like “Yeah! Let’s.....uh-oh.”
