I have no reason to be untruthful. I ran the truck and reefer going through WI my truck said 23 below.

You can tell by the color if it's good fuel. Green or yellow it's good..clear fuel you have to ad antigel.

Also has anybody noticed the different sound a truck makes when it's 25 below?

My wife and I were running a Volvo.

Got news for you all the diesel is unbranded it’s the same fuel… I have delivered fuel to love’s and I’ve delivered fuel to pilot flying J‘s and they all load out of the same rack…

    So few people understand that.
Here's another way of saying it....
It's all the same stuff, people. It comes from the same place.

True but they do mix different additives and bio junk at the stops usually. I am very thankful I can buy non bio at a few stops in areas I run and non ethanol at home for the cars

Sinclair, QT, KwikTrip, Coffee Cup and alike have same fuel if not better as Love's, only difference is price. Best idling and miles I was always getting from Sinclair and Exxon.

They can order different additive packages from the terminal, or so I've always been told anyway. Wouldn't be the first time someone was full of #### though.

Sapp bros, does and a few other stops inject bio into fuel as it’s dumped. Sure they are all different also depends on region.

I know down in the Houston area the The loves and pilot flying J get their fuel from Conoco Phillips, kinder Morgan and possibly from the Magellan rack… As unbranded fuel because all diesel products are unbranded… They all sell bio diesel blends down there and I was never instructed to drop any kind of additives into the ground tanks… I will ask a friend of mine who currently is still employed by pilot flying J in the Houston area Hauling Fuel can to confirm whether or not they drop additives or not.

so no matter where you buy your diesel from whether it’s any of the truckstop chains or a Shell station, Exxon station, a Conoco station, a marathon station or Arco station etc. the diesel is unbranded compared to gasoline where if you run a shell station you must run a shell additive branded gasoline the same goes for Exxon mobile stores, Conoco Phillips stores, Valero stores etc.…

    OK then.

Why is the color of fuel different why does my engine perform and sound differently depending on the fuel?
