Honestly don't know, but I have talked to a number of drivers here, and if they were to try, then we'd probaby hear about it on the news after a half dozen managers were in the ambulance on the way to the hospital to have their teeth removed from their esophagus or a shoe removed from their ### after they had a seriously pissed off driver teach them a thing or two.

I guess the snow out west tonite and tomorrow will be a moot point. It's 5.5 hrs after my appointment, and they haven't even opened their dock door to start loading me. No way I am making the delivery on time anyway. Told dispatch about it so they can warn the receiver, but got the standard ''let us know when you're loaded" line, which will be after the receiver is closed for the day, so when I'm not there to unload it'll be "surprise, we need to reschedule"

This was no mistake, it was intentional. They prioritized getting that trailer into the shop over your getting paid for your load.

When you’ve had enough and decide to leave, go with eyes wide open. I left Crete in 2017 when they started going to all automatic transmissions. Before I turned my tractor in, I spent half a day detailing and cleaning out the inside after taking out my things. They still charged me the maximum amount-$500, as a “cleaning fee”. I don’t smoke, there was no damage to the inside of the truck and it was vacuumed and spotless. No reason not to screw over a now former driver, right? You might expect the same.

When I left the second time I just unloaded my stuff and left it on the yard. Knowing full well they were going to charge me anyways.

They charge you when you leave? Thats a crap move. Do they charge a fee when swapping trucks?

That's why I like Deland. I clean mine enough that it's usable, but spotless, no way. The Deland shop checks you in, gives you a thumbs up and a copy of the inspection. They have a detailing outfit come in and get them squeaky clean.
