Just for pure nosiness sake how often do you take hometime to hit that number?

My w-2 last year was over $92k, and with my vacation time and hometime I was home over 60 days during the year.

But you've been here long enough that you're probably at the top CPM. I am willing to bet that more than 60%+ of the OTR drivers here are NOT at the max cpm and are NOT making $100k+. (I say more than 60% of us OTR drivers because that would be what it would take to offset all the local, dedicated and regional drivers making way below $100k).

Wait, you’re saying at Crete you’re making over $100,000? About six months ago they offered me, I think it was $.68 per mile. 2400 miles per week, home weekly. I turned it down. Found out I’d be running Hershey’s for them which according to my research was like 65% Northeast driving into tight congested places over and over all week long. I could have been wrong. I sent the recruiter a list of specific questions, as I was already driving at a company I was reasonably OK with. He just sent me the typical recruiting canned responses. And that was when I was like “no thanks, it’s probably BS.

Also, when Crete says your home weekly, they mean a lousy 34 hour reset, not actually two days off? I can’t stand the trucking companies get away with that false advertising., “Oh we get you home every weekend for your days off” lie, you get me home for a night and a few hour break every week.

They claim the top 50% are making over $100k...what they don't tell you is they include the amount they deposit in the driver's profit sharing AND the company's match to a 401k in that $100k...at least that is how I interpreted the poster in one of the terminals. It's not a $100k gross pay amount

I got dinged with a preventable after backing into a snowbank that had a boulder, and bent my D/S step.
    That’s why my numbers dropped.
    No bonus,no sweat!

Ok, but Crete advertises or recruits stating 5 days OTR, 2 days home time. Using that formulation, you’re only taking about half the days off you’re eligible for. That is probably why you’re making over 100 grand. Theoretically if you stay out 25 days, you should be able to take like 8 to 10 days off
