Have been declined the 32 form twice and had to call in for 50 gal. Emergency fuel twice its getting ridiculous drivers I speak with regularly at other companies one being averitt which I believe has a larger size fleet allow them to get fuel whenever they need they just ask to try and stay in network... already sent a complaint about this to q&a but they only addressed the detention raise request... ehhh

Those are always fun when you get one of those trailers with the self locking landing gear handles...that won't stay locked

Saw this weeks propaganda video. Same stuff, stay on fuel solution, watch your idle, etc. Only, no recruit...recruit....recruit. I have some advice for them, based on my experience. You want better MPG's, lower idle time and less of a problem recruiting drivers...one simple addition to our fleet...APU's. At Magnum, my 579 Pete got 8-9 mpg, had a very low idle percentage, and the drivers enjoyed having the comfort and convenience of having power to run their appliances and a/c in the summer without the main engine cycling on and off. And, it was a lot better on the emission system of truck. Heck, even my Pinnacle over at Moore got better fuel mileage pulling open deck than any of my Cascadias have done here pulling a solid sided box.

I thought Creaffer tried those years ago.

Only on one year, and they maintained them like they do their trucks. Stretch the service intervals out to the max, and don't fix anything until it's broken. If it's going bad, put off the repair until it breaks.

I miss my APU! Had one of the original TriPac units. Got stuck in Calexico CA. 120 degrees out. That apu kept me at a steady 74 for 2 days. It powered the bunk heater all winter too...when we had functional ones....lol

I am to the point, when looking at a perspective company to move to, I would be willing to take a reduction in my gross earnings if they have an APU, Prepass and less micromanaging instead of this opti-idle, Drivewyze and constant hand holding.
