Hehe got the Unilever $100 Amazon bonus code...for a load I did in NOVEMBER! And dispatch called and woke me out of a sound sleep to tell me... instead of just dropping a message on the PPN.
9pm and they're making phone calls to the drivers...
Was not happy...but $100 is $100.
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Load to Kalamazoo-zoo-zoo ended up being a drop/hook at the receiver (load info said live unload, but I have never live unloaded there, ever). I guess if the info is wrong, then having it wrong like that beats the other way around. I had a choice of an old 838--- trailer or an older 837--- trailer. The 838--- was cleaner inside, but had a missing mudflap and what appeared to be an oil streak coming down the front of the trailer near where the compressor is located. So, the 837--- it is. Now the fun part. I am picking up at the Eggo plant on the south side of Grand Rapids. The place that requires that all trailers be washed out, and you have to have a receipt to show them if they ask. Well, it's the weekend, and the trucker path app shows every truckwash anywhere near me is closed on the weekend. So it looks like a 50+ mile trip to Benton Harbor is in my future.
My little yellow, engine shaped night light went out yesterday, so that's good. But now my bunk heater keeps throwing the red light about every other day. Thank god it's almost time to quit using that #### thing for the season.RussianBearTruckeR, Lonesome, Bumper and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have had my check engine light on for 3 weeks now and so far trucks been running smooth.
Just finished delivering to the HEB DC in Houston and am parked at the flying J on i45.
DMV office just 3 miles south of me and here's hoping I pass it in one go. Even tho I've memorized the 170 different Texas hazmat questions from that hazmat theory study guide. They can always throw some curve ball questions.
Gonna be busy today reading then rereading the hazmat section of the handbook.
Family also thought I was going on a cruise when I asked them to meet me at a truck stop with my passport in handRussianBearTruckeR, tallguy66, Bumper and 1 other person Thank this. -
