My load info says trailers must be swept and washed. I don't feel like driving to the Blue Beacon in Pontoon Beach and back based on old, BS load info. Can anyone verify this? Is there any conceivable load that might need a trailer washout? I was thinking maybe some kind of grain load or brewer's yeast or something.

I've hauled both empty cans and beer back out and as long as the trailer was swept they didn't care. Just make sure it's clean before you get there. This was dry van.

Edit: Baldwinsville NY. Others might be more picky

Haven't been to the one in st Louis, but the one in Jacksonville is real picky. Also, they can be a pita to load at.

Coke was pretty picky too. I did some for them years ago. They used to turn those big air movers into the trailers and if any dust came up they’d refuse it. I never had any trouble loading at the warehouse, but getting rid of the #### at some of their distributors was a nightmare.

Cartersville had a security lady that was a nitpicky bee-och... I've picked up at St. Louis in a reefer a few times, and all I did was a leaf blower blow out, and they never said a word.

Go in with half fuel. They like to pack in that beer.

    What’s that old joke?

A woman walks into a bar, goes up to the male bartender and orders a beer. Not knowing what kind of beer she wants he inquires if she wants the best seller by simply asking .. “Anheuser Busch” ??

Taken aback she immediately slaps him and says ‘how dare you ask me such a personal question’

Back in the 80s they used to let you drink free beer on the property Lol. My dad and uncle worked at a trailer repair shop by the Newark plant. They used to love getting called over to fix a wagon. Do more drinking than work Lol

Hauled exclusively out of Newark for 5 years for a private Bud distributor, mid-late 90's, the free beer days were gone by then but I heard about them. Been to Baldwinsville a time or 2. Outbound scale would make you go back to the door if overweight. I remember them taking off just a couple of cases one time. It was actually a great job, still have my jacket!
